Another excellent entry, and in my opinion an improvement on the first novel. Blood Feud pick up right where where Rise of a Champion leaves off, and is much more of a page-turner.
I've really liked how The Bound and the Broken series has alternated between massive main-plot novels and these shorter novellas that fill in the gaps and provide backstory and fill in some of the gaps. The novellas aren't necessary reading, but they're strongly encouraged.Unfortunately, while...
Pretty good historical fiction covering a relatively underappreciated time in history. This series follows Antonio, the son of a knight executed for false crimes, who falls in with Rodrigo de Vivar, known as El Cid.
If you've made it this far in the series, you know what you're getting: silly, fun popcorn reading with some heartfelt moments and hit-or-miss humor that leans a bit more towards hit for me.
Another fun entry. This third novel is in my opinion the weakest of the bunch so far, for a few reasons, but it's still a strong novel with tons of action and some nice character development.
