Dragon Ball vol. 8 review

June 14, 2024 - Reading time: ~1 minute - Category: reviews

Another excellent volume. The Red Ribbon Army remains a really fun group of villains, and Taopaipai is probably the most interesting enemy yet.

This one follows a pretty familiar 'protagonist beats up on people -> he meets his match -> he finds a new master and gets stronger -> he wins again' formula, but it's done well here and the training arc doesn't overstay its welcome. Great art too, as usual.
