Dragon Ball vol 15 review

March 7, 2025 - Reading time: ~1 minute - Category: reviews

Another fun volume. I really like the tournament arcs and lower stakes in Dragon Ball.

More good art and some fun fights. Being a tournament, there's not a ton of plot movement here besides showing how some characters have powered up. The reintroduction of Chi Chi was fun, and it's always nice to see the origins of the main cast of DBZ.

I wish the original Dragon Ball got a little more love these days as it's a really fun series and a totally different tone than DBZ and Super. There's only one volume left and the ending is definitely going to be a little bittersweet after the death of Toriyama.
