Trackmania is the latest in the Trackmania series, and saw the series shift to a free to play model. I like Trackmania, and have played a bit of Trackmania Turbo on the PS$. That one was most single player, while this one is more of a multiplayer affair.
The main concept of Trackmania is time trials. Tracks are really short, 30-60 seconds, and unlike traditional racing games there are no other racers. You just race yourself or ghosts competing for the best time. This version of the game has a couple multiplayer modes, and they work pretty well. Matches are quick, and the ranked mode pits teams of 3 against each other, scoring points based on finishing times in a series of rounds.
The free to play version comes with a rotational series of tracks, while there are options to pay for more content. I haven't felt that was necessary - there are a good amount of tracks so they shouldn't get stale unless you play quite a bit.
Fun little timewaster game that doesn't try to do too much.
Verdict: Endless/Multiplayer
