Super Mega Baseball 3 is an arcade baseball game, and now that it's in its third iteration it has a ton of polish and some modes that bring it more in line with its only real competitor: MLB The Show.
SMB's controls feel great, and the graphics are sharp and detailed while not aiming for photorealism. Controls feel great; the hitting and pitching feels pretty close to The Show's. The game's difficulty runs on a 1-100 scale, broken down into hitting, pitching, and fielding. It allows for really granular control over the game.
There's a few different game modes, with the Franchise mode being the biggest draw. I haven't played it yet, but some research shows that while it isn't on par with The Shows, it's still a great mode for continuous season-over-season play.
SMB is a really fun game to pick up and play, and is your best option on PC. It's quickly becoming a serious competitor to The Show.
Verdict: Timewaster
