Sackboy: A Big Adventure is the newest game featuring Sackboy, who was introduced in the LittleBigPlanet games. While those games had a campaign, they were mostly focused on user-generated content: millions of levels were created, and while most were junk, there were some gems, just like with Mario Maker.
Sackboy forgoes user-generated content entirely in favor of a handcrafted expanded campaign. It's also fully 3D where previous games were 2.5D. The closest comparable game is New Super Mario World. There's also a huge focus on multiplayer. Like in Mario, Sackboy can be completed solo, but there are multiplayer-only levels and secrets. Multiplayer is where the game shines. The levels are very easy, but playing with a friend makes them much more fun as you can compete for high scores and collectibles.
If you're playing alone, this one is a bit of a hard sell unless you like simple 3D platformers or are nostalgic for that LBP feel. It's a recommend if you're playing multiplayer.
Verdict: Keep Playing (Multiplayer)
