Ratchet and Clank 2016 is a soft reboot of the original PS2 game. It retains the series gameplay style, and changes the story just a bit to coincide with the movie release.
The game is really fun, but was a bit disappointing to fans who wanted a new full release. It's basically a retread of the original game, with some nice new graphics. The weapons are great, like in every R&C game. The platforming is fine.
If you've never played Ratchet before, it's a 3D platformer focused on gun combat, where all of the guns do things like pixelizing all the enemies or making them dance. It's a nice 10 hour rump.
