Putt-Putt Enters the Race

July 22, 2023 - Reading time: ~1 minute - Category: game library project

The Putt-Putt games were a staple of every kid who grew up in the late 90s. I myself didn't play many of them, besides Balloon-o-Rama, which was a Breakout clone. Most of the games, this one included, are point-and-click adventures.

I miss this era of games. Back then, there were a ton of edutainment games that were sometimes pretty well-produced, and the Humungous Entertainment games were some of the best. They simply don't make games like this anymore, and there really seems to be a lack of games for children in general. I guess all of them have moved on to phones and tablets.

That said, there's not much here besides nostalgia if you're an adult playing this game. No real difficulty and the story is dead simple. There's a certain charm to it, but unless you're taking a stroll down memory lane there's no real reason to go back to this.

Verdict: Uninstall
