Metroid Fusion

August 25, 2024 - Reading time: ~1 minute - Category: game library project

Metroid has been one of those series I've always meant to get around to, but never have. Fusion seemed highly recommended as a jumping in point, so I decided to give it a try. I've only played for a few minutes, but I see why the game and series are so beloved.

Despite being a GBA game, it looks and sounds pretty great. Movement is fluid and feels good. Reviews have said this game is a little more on-rails than other Metroid games, and I'm definitely getting that feeling with the game giving me the next room I need to get to. Not a bad design choice, IMO.

This one's supposed to be pretty short. I'll keep playing.

Verdict: Keep Playing
