It's been a few years since I've played a Madden game, and 25 is my first on next-gen consoles. The bones are mostly the same as older versions, but the graphical upgrades are impressive.I downloaded some sliders from Operation Sports, and I'm getting pretty realistic results. I need to work on my passing game and defense, but I'm hanging around in games and nothing so far has felt unfair. I'm not sure how much I'll actually play franchise mode, but I'm enjoying it so far. I think the key to liking these sports games is to not play them every single year.

One downside to note is the oddly sluggish menus. This really shouldn't be a thing on the PS5.
