Homebound

January 8, 2023 - Reading time: 2 minutes - Category: game library project

Homebound is a short and sweet Warioware-like. I got this game in Itch.io's bundle for Palestinian aid. Originally made for a game jam, designer Ben Seavello polished the game a bit and released this full version. There's only about a dozen little mini-games, and you can get through the little story in roughly 20 minutes, but they're fun enough.

If you're familiar with other microgames you won't be surprised by any of the games here. The graphics are super simple but charming, and the sound design is better than it has any right to be.

The game is freeware, so if you've got a little time to kill there are worse ways to spend a few minutes.

Verdict: Finished

Part of the Game Library Project

Reviews, where I post longer-form writeups
