Grand Theft Auto V

March 19, 2023 - Reading time: ~1 minute - Category: game library project

You know exactly what you're getting with Grand Theft Auto: A strong story, some wonky controls, and a massive sandbox world to cause havoc in. 5 is no different in that respect.

This game does, however, throw in a few wrinkles. there are 3 protagonists, and I think it does the game a disservice as all 3 don't really seem to be given enough time to be fleshed out. I usually always prefer one strong protag vs. multiple in story-heavy games like this.

That aside, the campaign is fun, missions are as goofy as ever, and while the map can be a bit barren outside the main city it's still fun to explore. The first person mode is a nice addition too.

Verdict: Finished

Part of the Game Library Project
