Ghost of Tsushima

March 18, 2023 - Reading time: ~1 minute - Category: game library project

Ghost of Tsushima is an excellent, excellent open-world game. It features many of the same shortcomings as some of the other popular game sin the genre - lots of collectibles, bandit camps, but is carried along by its fantastic combat, gorgeous visuals, and relatively unique setting.

This is one of the few games I actually bothered to get the Platinum trophy in. This meant grabbing the vast majority of the collectibles and completing almost all other combat. In most games in this genre, this would feel like a chore, but in Ghost of Tsushima the combat and excellent visuals (as well as a unique GPS feature) made it a breeze. I put about 30 hours into this game, and it felt like 10.

Anyone that wants to give open world games another try should check this one out, especially if you're a fan of samurai and Japanese stuff.

Verdict: Finished
