I've mentioned before that these Emily is Away games are really nostalgic for me. They take me back to a really foundational time in my life, despite not really being games.

This third game in the series jumps ahead a few years. AIM is dead and Facebook is the new big thing. I remember joining Facebook way back in 2008 as my first real life social media account, and the feelings this game evokes take me right back to that time. The conversations the main character has, along with the stronger element of choice in this game, make it stand out above the previous two games. If you were online in the early Facebook era and were in highschool, you'll probably connect a lot with what the characters in this game talk about.
