Control is a 3D action/adventure game with some light metroidvania elements and a really cool story.

Set entirely in The oldest House, a building maintained by the Federal Bureau of Control, you play as Jesse and try to discover the nature of the presence that is taking over the building. Along the way you complete quests and uncover some really interesting lore about the objects being kept at the building.

The gameplay is good, but nothing special - many enemies are bullet-spongey and once you find a tactic that works you can stick with it for the whole game, and there's a few egregious difficulty spikes at boss fights.

The real driving force of this game is the story and optional lore you can read. If you like SCP stuff or played Alan Wake, you'll love this game.
