Chrono Trigger

Chrono Trigger is a classic JRPG, and one I've somehow never managed to get around to playing. I'm glad I finally did - it's an excellent game and a hallmark of the genre.

The story is relatively simple, the characters not terribly deep. But they are fun - it's a colorful cast that manages to have a lot of personality despite rather sparse dialogue.

Combat is really fun, it works on ATB system where actions take varying amounts of time. It's not a terribly difficult game, but some boss fights got a little hectic.

The game looks and sounds great on the DS, and this is probably the best way it.
