Black Mesa

I've never played Half-Life, but I've always wanted to, and I've heard that nowadays Black Mesa is the best way to play. Since I recently got a VR headset and will be playing HL Alyx eventually, I decided to jump in.

I'm in the middle of the third chapter, a little over an hour in, and I'm having fun with it so far. I'm really liking the story and the atmosphere. The combat is okay, not the strongest. The melee feels a little floaty and lacks some impact. I'm definitely playing the one for the story, and the story seems good enough so far to keep me hooked.

Verdict: Keep Playing
