Bioshock Infinite

December 5, 2023 - Reading time: ~1 minute - Category: game library project

Bioshock Infinite is a bit of a departure from the previous 2 games both in setting and gameplay, leaving Rapture for Columbia and being more action-oriented. Having not played the other 2 games, I didn't have any bias going in. This is a pretty good FPS game with an interesting story. The gunplay is pretty standard fare, but the other powers you get are pretty cool. Elizabeth is as good a sidekick/companion as there is in video games, helping you out, staying out of the way, and never being a liability. The story is interesting too, for a video game.

I've never played the DLC, so maybe I'll replay this one and give it a go sometime. For now, I'm happy with the fond memories I've got of playing it on my crappy old high school laptop.

Verdict: Finished

Part of the Game Library Project
