Before Your Eyes

September 24, 2023 - Reading time: ~1 minute - Category: game library project

Play through a series of vignettes using just the mouse and your eyes to advance. It's a really unique game mechanic and one that works surprisingly well and gets woven into the story really creatively. I was impressed with how well the eyetracking worked, even wearing glasses. Not much gameplay here, but it's worth 90 minutes of your time as an experience. Bittersweet and touching story. It can also be played without a webcam but I think a good chunk of the impact would be lost.

Verdict: Finished

Part of the Game Library Project
