Atelier Sophie ~The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book~ was my introduction to the Atelier series, and while I totally understand the appeal of the series, this one, at least, wasn't really for me.

Crafting has never been my favorite system in games, so it's probably obvious that I wouldn't really enjoy a series centered around it. I did enjoy how expansive the system was, and the story and characters are really cute - a nice change of pace from more serious games - but the gameplay loop really didn't grip me. It's possible that's because I played the upscaled PS3 version of the game, but I'm leaning towards maybe just not liking the style of game.

I do have the first 2 Ryza games, and they seem to evolve the formula a bit, so maybe when I give them a try I'll have a better time.

Verdict: Uninstall
