Art of Rally

December 23, 2023 - Reading time: ~1 minute - Category: game library project

Think Dirt Rally, but top-down, and you've got Art of Rally. This game oozes style. The graphics are simple, but the menus and UI have such a distinct look and are really pleasing to the eye. The gameplay is pretty standard for a top-down racer, and can be pretty casual or crushing depending on difficulty settings.

There's quite a bit of content here - at least one rally for each year from 1967 - 1996, plus free roam and custom rallies, with a DLC available too. This one seems like a great timewaster, but isn't one I'm going to dedicate a ton of time to right now. Definitely on my list if I want a rally game, though.

Verdict: Timewaster
