An Octave Higher is a visual novel. I played it several years ago, and frankly don't remember a ton of it. I remember enjoying the music, and that it left a good impression on me. An Octave Higher takes about 3 hours to complete one playthrough, and there's some room for replayability if you take different routes.
While I remember enjoying this game, the fact that I don't remember a single thing about the story doesn't inspire much confidence. It has favorable ratings on Steam. If you need a new VN to read, give it a shot if you've played all the famous ones already.
