American Arcadia

June 23, 2024 - Reading time: ~1 minute - Category: game library project

American Arcadia is an interesting puzzle-platformer with full voice acting by Yuri Lowenthal. I've played about 30 minutes of it so far, and while the art style isn't my cup of tea, the superb voice acting and interesting premise have me hooked.

I've seen this game described as sort of similar to games like Limbo and Inside, and while I haven't done much puzzle solving yet, I can see the similarities in the 'move to the right and interact with objects to solve puzzles' gameplay. Though apparently this game has 2 playable characters and the gameplay for the other character (as yet unseen) is totally different.

I'm really liking the premise of this one so far and have an idea of where the story's going, but I'm excited to find out for sure.

Verdict: Keep Playing
