Aliens: Fireteam Elite is a co-op survival third person shooter where you move through levels as a squad and take out waves of enemies. It's fun, if a little uninspired. It's one of the free PS Plus games for November 2023, which is perfect as I don't think it's a game I'd ever spend money on, but it's worth a download and a few hours play.I've been playing this game in multiplayer with my brother. There's a handful of classes with different weapons and perks available, and having a balanced squad is key to success. We originally tried playing with a random as our third member, and struggled. We swapped him out for an AI and had a much better time. I'm not sure if the game is easier with AI or if our teammate was just braindead.

It's a fun game for a while. The mission we played took about 20 minutes, which feels like a good amount. Shooting feels good and the classes are different enough to be worth trying out. This is one I can see us playing for a few weeks before we get tired of it.
