Another nice entry in this series that sets the stage for a big finale. A Plague of Swords retains the epic battle scenes and fun characters of the previous novels, while also explaining more about the enemy's motivations. This volume is our intro to the Red Ribbon Army, a recurring group of villains that feel a lot more grounded than the more otherworldly villains we see in Z.
The tournament arc concludes in this volume. There's still plenty of great art, but the final fight drags on a bit, and overall I liked this volume a bit less that the previous one.
Another great entry in the series. This was my favorite volume so far, as Goku and Krillin finally begin their training and the back half is filled with the fight scenes that made the series famous.
