9.03m is another of those "experience" games, released in the wake of the 2011 Japanese tsunami. It only takes about 15 minutes to finish, but it's a nice enough experience. The graphics are very simple but have charm to them, and the game's message is heartfelt.

As a history buff and fan of historical fiction, I really enjoyed Pendragon Rising. You play as Arthur, bastard son of Uther, as you rise to eventually take the kingdom. Not really a game, and not a visual novel, Pendragon Rising is a choose your own adventure game.
