Tape to Tape has been on my wishlist for ages. I've been looking for fun arcade hockey game ever since playing 3 on 3 NHL Arcade way back on the PS3. The official NHL games are fine, but sometimes you just want a quick arcade game.
Ys is maybe my favorite game series of all time. I got into the series years ago and have played all entries that have released in the US. I enjoy all 3 styles the franchise has tried, with Ys 8 being my favorite. Ys 9 was great, but didn't quite hit the same highs as 8, so I'm hoping 10 does.
Old World is a strategy/4X game created by a studio headed by a former Civilization dev, and the bones of Civ are definitely present here. It's also got a lot more character interaction than Civ, there's some Crusader Kings influence is here too.
I never really got into Runescape as a kid, I was an AdventureQuest and Maplestory guy. But I've been looking for a similar game for a long time - a single-player, offline game with lots of progression that's easy to start and stop, and I think this might be it.
